One team. One timeline. One point of accountability.
Most industrial control projects fail at the handoffs – between engineering and panel building, between the shop and the site, between the integrator and the customer. JTK eliminates those handoffs.
Our turn-key integration covers the full lifecycle of an industrial control system: engineering, design, PLC and HMI programming, panel manufacturing, commissioning, and ongoing support. Everything done by people who report to the same owners, in the same shop, on the same timeline.
Industries We Integrate For
- Automotive – Assembly, conveyor, weld, paint shop controls.
- Coffee Roasting & Food Processing – Recipe controls, batch automation, traceability.
- Material Handling – Conveyor, sortation, palletizing.
- Water & Wastewater – Pump, SCADA, remote monitoring.
- Steel & Heavy Industry – High-current, hazardous-location work.
- Renewables – Solar, battery storage (BESS), facility energy controls.

Our experienced and dedicated staff at JTK Integrated Controls Inc. ensures our client’s needs are met by providing exceptional service and products that exceed their expectations.
Why Clients Pick JTK For Turn-Key Integration Solutions
We're a one-stop turn-key systems integrator – engineering, building, and commissioning the control systems that run modern industrial operations.
We start with the system, not the panel.
Engineering leads. Hardware follows the design – not the other way around.
Single point of accountability.
Same shop. Same owners. Same project manager from kickoff to commissioning.
No surprise subs.
Engineering, programming, panel building, commissioning – all in-house.
Owner involvement, end-to-end. Jim leads Sales and Estimating.
Kraig leads Operations. They don't disappear after PO.
Industry depth.
We've integrated for Ford, GM, Chrysler, Honda, Magna, Boeing, and the contractors who serve them – and we know the documentation expectations of each.
What's Included
We provide end-to-end industrial automation and electrical engineering services, delivering reliable solutions from initial design through commissioning and long-term support.
-
Engineering & Electrical Design
We start where the work actually starts – with a clear scope. Our engineering group produces complete electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop drawings, panel layouts, and bills of material. If your project is a retrofit, we work from your existing documentation (or rebuild it where it's missing).
-
PLC Programming
Full programming on the platforms North American industry actually runs on:
- Allen-Bradley PLC-5, SLC, MicroLogix
- Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix
- Schneider PLC
- Siemens (S7, TIA Portal)
- Mitsubishi
- Rockwell Automation
Code is structured, documented, and version-controlled. Future you (or your maintenance team) can actually read it.
-
HMI & SCADA Development
Operator interfaces designed for the people who'll actually use them – not a screenful of every variable available.
- Rockwell FactoryTalk View (SE / ME)
- Wonderware / AVEVA
- Siemens WinCC
- Schneider
- Visual BASIC / PC-based custom
-
Industrial Networking
Distributed control architectures designed to scale and survive a plant environment.
- EtherNet/IP
- DeviceNet
- Profibus / Profinet
- ControlNet
- Modbus TCP and RTU
-
Panel Manufacturing
Every panel is built in-house in our CSA-certified shop, with our CNC machine handling cutting, drilling, and tapping enclosures and backplates. Our laser engraver produces tags and legend plates on-site. Every panel is hot-tested before it ships.
-
Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
Before a panel leaves the shop, we power it up, run the code, simulate I/O, and walk through the test plan with you – either in person or remotely. You see the system work before it ships.
-
Commissioning & Start-Up
Our team gets on-site, connects online, validates I/O, debugs, and signs off. We don't ship and disappear – we're there for start-up
-
Ongoing Support & Retrofits
Production needs change. Older equipment needs newer brains. We handle field retrofits, control upgrades, equipment-life extensions, and minor scope expansions long after the original project is done.
FAQs About JTK turn-key Integration Solutions
-
Can you work from our existing drawings and code?
Yes. About half our turn-key work is greenfield. The other half is retrofits, expansions, or rebuilds where we inherit existing systems – sometimes with documentation, sometimes without. We rebuild what's missing.
-
Do you handle commissioning on-site?
Yes – across Ontario, into the U.S. (Detroit area is common), and beyond when the project warrants it. USMCA / CUSMA compliance keeps cross-border work clean.
-
Do you provide post-installation support?
Yes. We support every system we deliver, and we're often called in to upgrade or expand systems we built years ago. Continuity is part of the value.
-
What if our scope changes mid-project?
Honest answer: it usually does. We handle it the way we'd want it handled – clear change orders, real cost impact discussed upfront, no quiet add-ons in the final invoice.
-
What's a typical project size for turn-key work?
JTK's engineering depth means that we can single handedly execute small and medium sized projects ($1million). Larger projects can be executed by partnering with other integrators. Contact us to review your project requirements. We also do smaller panel-only builds and one-off CNC and engraving work – and we're often the shop that contractors and integrators call for an extra capacity boost on bigger jobs
-
Which PLC platforms do you specialize in?
Allen-Bradley (PLC-5, SLC, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix) is our deepest expertise – we're a Rockwell Automation Bronze Member under the Systems Integrator Program. We also work in Schneider, Siemens, and Mitsubishi.
