Who We Are
JTK Integrated Controls Inc. is a Ontario-based turn-key systems integrator and CSA-certified panel shop. From our convenient location on the South Service Road in Stoney Creek (Niagara, ON), we engineer, build, program, and commission industrial control systems for clients across Canada and the U.S.
Our growing team includes engineers, programmers, panel builders, and production specialists. We're owned and operated by Jim Beattie and Kraig Tardif, industry leaders and the people whose names are on the door. When you call, you get the quality of service that they are known to provide.
Our Story
Since 2013, JTK has become the integration partner that customers can depend on. In 2024, we grew 87% — faster than any year before — and learned that growth without structure is its own problem. That experience drove a deliberate rebuild: a dedicated engineering group, a production manager leading an assembly team, and a roadmap for continued growth.
What hasn't changed: the work is done by people who care that it gets done right.
-
JTK Integrated Controls was founded on a simple frustration: too many control system projects get sold by one company, engineered by another, built by a third, and supported by no one. We do the whole thing in-house... and we sign our name to it.
What Makes Us Different
Full service. In-house. Real people. Translates to efficiencies for our clients.
We lead with engineering.
Most shops our size are panel builders who took on engineering as a side service. We're the inverse — integrators who built a panel shop because we got tired of waiting on subcontractors. That ordering matters. It means we scope work the way it should work, then build to match, instead of forcing the design to fit pre-made parts.
We own the equipment that other shops rent.
Our CNC enclosure modification machine cuts, drills, and taps in-house — the only one of its kind in Niagara. We also run our own engraving for nameplates and tags. The result: lead times other shops can't match, and a single point of accountability when something has to ship on Friday.
We're certified where it counts.
CSA-certified panel shop. Rockwell Automation Bronze Member under the Systems Integrator Program. USMCA / CUSMA-compliant for cross-border work. CFIB member. The paperwork is done so your procurement team doesn't have to chase it.
Engineering Depth, Not Just Panel Assembly
Our engineering group leads with the harder problem first: how your system needs to behave. Panels follow.
In-House CNC Enclosure Modifications
The only shop in Niagara with this machine. Modifications that take other shops 8–10 hours, we finish in 2.
Rockwell Automation Bronze Member
Recognized partner under the Systems Integrator Program – Allen-Bradley, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk, all in-house expertise.
CSA-Certified Panel Shop
Every panel ships compliance-ready.
USMCA / CUSMA Compliant
Cross-border procurement is straightforward.

FAQs About JTK Integrated Controls Inc.
-
How big is your team?
We're 14 people today – owners, engineers, programmers, a production manager, and panel assembly specialists – with a roadmap for continuous growth. Small enough that the owners are involved in every project, large enough to run multiple builds in parallel.
-
Is JTK a panel shop or a systems integrator?
Both – but if you're forcing us to pick one, we're integrators first. Panel building is one capability inside a broader engineering practice.
-
What's the ideal project size for JTK?
JTK's engineering depth means that we can single handedly execute small and medium sized projects ($1million). Larger projects can be executed by partnering with other integrators. Contact us to review your project requirements. We also do smaller panel-only builds and one-off CNC and engraving work – and we're often the shop that contractors and integrators call for an extra capacity boost on bigger jobs
-
Where are you based, and where do you work?
Our shop is in Stoney Creek, Ontario. We serve clients across Ontario, the GTA, the Niagara region, and into the U.S. – particularly Detroit-area conveyor and automotive integrators. USMCA compliance keeps cross-border work straightforward.
Have a project? Let's talk.
Whether you need a single panel built fast or a full integration from scratch, the conversation starts the same way – a quick call with someone who actually does the work.
