8 to 10 hours of work. Done in 2.
QuikMods is JTK's vertical CNC panel modification service. Bring us a panel – yours, ours, raw, or in-progress – and we'll cut it, drill it, tap it, and have it back in your hands in a fraction of the time a manual shop quotes.
We're the only shop in the Niagara region running this kind of vertical CNC machine for panel work. That's not marketing – it's geography. And it means contractors, integrators, and other panel shops use JTK as their go-to for fast modifications.
What The Machine Does
- Cuts – Cutouts for HMIs, displays, switches, fans, breakers, gauges, and anything else that needs a precise opening.
- Drills – Mounting holes, conduit entries, accessory mounts. Repeatable and exact.
- Taps – Threaded holes for grounds, mounting hardware, and anything that bolts to the panel.
- Modifies – Adding cutouts to existing panels, modifying an OEM box, repurposing inventory you'd otherwise scrap.
-
JTK strives to provide products and services that our customers can rely on, and our employees can be proud of.
Why It Matters
Panel modifications are usually the most painful part of any build:
- Slow – manual cutting and drilling takes hours per panel
- Inconsistent – hand-cut openings are never quite the same
- Expensive – billable shop time adds up fast
- Schedule-blocking – your team can't move forward until it's done
Our CNC fixes all four. The cuts are clean, repeatable, fast, and cost-effective. Work that used to take a full day takes us less than a quarter of that – and you don't lose a tech to grinding holes.

FAQs About QuikMods
-
Can you work on my panel – not one of yours?
Yes. That's the whole point. Bring us your panel, your customer's panel, or a panel you bought from someone else. We'll machine it.
-
How fast is fast?
For standard mods on panels we have on-hand or that you've dropped off, same-day or next-day is typical. We'll always confirm timing in the quote so there are no surprises.
-
How much does it cost?
Significantly less than the equivalent manual labor at a shop rate. Most clients see total project cost drop noticeably once they switch their mods to CNC. Send us a drawing and we'll price it.
-
Is there a minimum order?
No formal minimum. We've done one-off modifications and we've run multi-panel batches. Smaller jobs may be priced as a flat shop minimum – we'll be clear in the quote.
-
What file formats do you work with?
DXF and DWG are easiest. We'll work with PDFs and even hand sketches with dimensions – though clean CAD files mean faster turnaround.
-
Where are you located?
Stoney Creek, Ontario. We serve the Niagara region, the GTA, and ship across Ontario and into the U.S.
